HEALTHCARE FOR SECURE HEALTH

The Universal Healthcare is also known as Universal health coverage which means all people that have a Health Insurance in the Philippines can get any health care services that they need, the main goal of PhilHealth is to ensure a sustainable national health insurance program for all. Universal Healthcare (UHC) ensures that every Filipino, regardless of his ability to pay and health condition, shall receive quality, accessible, effective and equitable health care services. It generally creates a higher quality of living for citizens.

One of the remarkable speech of Pres. Rodrigo Duterte that he wants to pass all the bills of the Congress, and one of those bills is the Universal Health Care Program, most of the senators are very grateful because president duterte is in favor to the Bills that they supported.

The chairman of committee health, Sen. JV Ejercito wants to ensure that all hospital here in the Philippines will be in good conditions. Knowing that some hospitals are overcrowded, to the point that some of the patients can’t entertain well.

“Siguro we need about one or two hearing, I want to have hearings in Visayas and Mindanao para yung mga concerns in those regions na talaga naman through the years, yung mga facilities nila and services need improvement. So I want to have hearing, one in Visayas and one in Mindanao” lamented Sen. Ejercito

It is a human right as it is guaranteed in the important law of the land and worldwide laws recognized by our country. Section 15 of Article II of the 1987 Philippine Constitution states that: “The State shall protect and promote the right to health of the people and instill health consciousness among them.

In other words, promoting this bill is needed for all living people in our country, it is a human right to feel that they are protected by the state, especially to the people who can’t afford hospital bills and medicine.

Sen. JV Ejercito wants to ensure that Filipinos, especially the poor, are given financial protection against illnesses mainly through membership with the Philippine Health Insurance (Philhealth), giving them medical benefits and minimizing their out-of-pocket expenses. The senators will work for this program in order to help the people.

“I don’t want to see anymore 200-300 percent occupancy. Nakakalungkot, patients in the corridors, patients na nasa gymnasium na improvised wards. So hopefully with the passage of this messure, we can also improve on the health facilities” a hopeful voice of Sen. Ejercito.

The necessity of DOH is P228 billion, to improve those facilities and services of the hospital, in the next 5 years DOH need to get up of that money, they need to gain P46 billion yearly but because of the capacity cut of DBM, probably they could only get P29 billion yearly.

According to Sen. Ejercito, they will talk about the needed fund on the budget season, the PhilHealth coverage status before is just 91% but now they get 100% so they believed that this bill will be passed as soon as possible. It is a human right as it is guaranteed in the fundamental law of the land and international laws recognized by our country. Section 15 of Article II of the 1987 Philippine Constitution states that: “The State shall protect and promote the right to health of the people and instill health consciousness among them.

 

THE SOLUTION IS EDUCATION

Sen. JV Ejercito want to encourage the President to pass the Bill of Free Higher Education Act, “I’m one of the Principal author of the Free Higher Education Act. I would rather spend P100 billion for education than we are now spending P77 billion for conditional cash transfer, 4Ps. Eh sa akin kahit anong anggulo mo tignan, DOLE out yan eh” lamented Sen. Ejercito.

Under the proposed measure, CHED is mandated to manage and administer an SUC Tuition Subsidy Fund that will be made available to SUCs that will comply with requirements set by the law, Filipino students currently enrolled or will enroll in SUCs can get the full tuition subsidy upon meeting the admission requirements of the state university or college, in recent years, CHED has expressed its reservations about the policy, saying a tuition-free policy will likely lead to a massive exodus of students from private higher education institutions to SUCs.

“I am hoping the president would sign this, wag naman sanang i-veto because this would not look good” Sen. Ejercito said.

They only have a little chance to convince the president to sign the bill, it will benefited the students who are deserving to get free tuition. In spite of that, student need to maintain their grades in order to get a zero tuition fee, this bill is for those students who is willing to study hard for their near future.

Lawmakers expressed confidence, that there were enough room and funds in the proposed 2018 national budget to fund a newly-signed law that would provide free tuition for students in 112 state universities and colleges.

Education is one the key in order to get a wonderful future, as what Sen. Ejercito said, “Mas malaking tsansa na mas mapaganda mo yung kalidad ng buhay ng pamilya mo” believing that education is the investment of knowledge that will pay your achievments everyday.

They’re still trying to convince Pres. Duterte to approve this Bill, this bill could help a lot of students who deserve to get education for free, not everyone is blessed to get a good school for education, this bill will be the solution for those students who want to go to school even they don’t have a lots of money to get learnings.

The real intention of this bill is to give a chance for those students who are willing to give their best in their study, if you’re not willing to give your best then you can’t get a free tuition to what school you would like to belong.

Sec. Diokno, who opposed the bill admitted that the government cannot shoulder the estimated budget requirements of the bill.

The tertiary education is only 12%, despite that the congress and senators are still hoping that they can get a big chance to prove that education will always be the first step to success.

 

CCTV FOR SECURITY!

Security has become one of the most important factors leading to our everyday life. If you are working in an office, there are guards present 24 hours, and the facility is also monitored by CCTV cameras. With a security system in place, it becomes easier to monitor the premises and also gather information about an incident.

Through CCTV camera, we can see and check the ongoing process and moreover we can see the previous recording also. Then it is only possible through CCTV cameras. It helps us to reach to the victim in all possible ways. Nowadays crime has been increasing in a fast mode, Barangay 100 in Tondo Manila facing a huge problem of crimes, Riot every midnight, the group of people throwing each other a glass bottle, rocks or any heavy things that they can use as weapons for the war. This case is hard to solve because this Brgy. are lack of CCTV, the Barangay council can’t figure out who are the suspects of this scenario. People in this community are very affected because of the idea that they’re not safe anymore, one of the problems also is the “akyat bahay modus” they can’t identify the suspect/s because they don’t have any evidence.

Brgy. Chairwoman Ave Carpio is alarmed for the people that belong to her leadership, because of the different kind of crime she decided to increase the population of her Brgy. Tanod and filed a letter for the fund and sponsorship for the CCTV implementation.

The Chairwoman, still hoping that these problems will be overcome with the help of her Barangay councils “It’s probably very hard to solve this problem especially we don’t have a fund, kasi ang daming plans  para sating community here (pag abot ng files for plans) lahat yan pinadala sa cityhall  at sa ibang sponsorships natin, meron naman din tayong fund in our barangay kaso nagamit na ung latest, for medical mission and  ung other side ng community natin ay nasunugan so, naglaan ng biglaan na fund para tayo ay makatulong sa kanila” Chairwoman Carpio said.

People in Barangay 100 are cooperating with their Chairwoman for the fund, some of them give a donation for our CCTV and some of them are voluntary helping are barangay officials. They believed that having a CCTV surround in Barangay 100 will give them a high level of security, “People really like to have CCTV cameras because police and the people who live in the areas believe it brings greater security” it is said by one of the barangay councils.

Probably, Barangay 100 is still in progress to have a CCTV in their community because they only have three security cameras and it was place around the barangay hall only, “Mas okay sana kung lahat ng parte ng ating komunidad may ganito, to prevent a percentage of crime in our community” lamented Chairwoman Carpio. As per other barangay councils, people tend to behave properly when they know they are being monitored because they will get a punishment, maybe they put in a jail or they will be forcedly out of the community of Barangay 100.

Security system technology and CCTV equipment can be used in both internal and external environments to watch over and protect people, property, vehicles, and valuables. The security system is considered to be the most effective method of reducing crime, this equipment can provide instant alerts when problematic trouble occurs, ensuring that crime against people, theft and vandalism are all substantially reduced and covered. And when crime does occur, CCTV security system incident recording can provide valuable evidence, improving the likelihood of a conviction.

In very effective way Chairwoman Carpio, made a program for all the people in her community to open up the problem about the crimes in their public. They show the crime rates that usually happened every midnight and every day. Chairwoman creates this program to tell people to be more aware, and of course to deterring people from committing offenses both inside and outside of Barangay 100. Chairwoman Carpio also discussed that if the people belong in her barangay do some offensive things or worst do some crimes, she will not let people to do it again, and she will give a punishment that will help them for not repeating the same evil thing again.

By the mid of September or start of October, Chairwoman Carpio hoping that they could get the fund that they were expecting. Residence in Barangay also helping the Barangay officials to have a peaceful community again, that they will not be bothered anymore about the criminal cases.

“Matatakot na yang mga gumawa ng kalokohan sa lugar natin pag nagkaroon ng CCTV sa buong lugar natin, kaya dapat talagang sa lalong madaling panahon ay magkaroon na tayo” Tonyo bagsik said, one of the concern citizen and tanod of Barangay 100. Having cameras in public places make people feel safe. If people know that there are cameras around them, they will most likely not do anything stupid. People feel safer in the knowledge that a potential mugger or attacker will be put-off by the presence of a camera.

If no one is aware of the crime until after it has been committed, the surveillance footage is always a crucial piece of evidence during a police investigation. Surveillance cameras have and will prevent many crimes. CCTV is for security, the last words of the Chairwoman of Barangay 100 in the said Program awareness.

 

 

 

 

RISK OF TEENAGE PREGNANCY

Teenage Pregnancy is relevant topic nowadays. Before kids are just playing and enjoying their age because they are still innocent but now they are engaging with lots of things that are not suitable for their age, everything has changed. Teenage pregnancy has become an important public health problem. It is common, preventable and associated with negative outcome both on the Mother and Child.

According to the book of Joan Vasques, “In the developed countries Teenage pregnancy carries a social stigma because it is outside marriage but in developing countries, it is usually within marriage and does not involve stigma.”

Teenage Pregnancy is not a disgrace or dishonor, maybe some of them are emotionally affected by their personal problem, which leads them to do those things, and may get the outcome to have an issue health. Teenage pregnancy is the very sensitive case, it will take your life at risk.

Teenage girls who are pregnant, especially if they don’t have support from their parents are at risk of not getting sufficient prenatal care. Prenatal care is critical, especially in the first months of pregnancy. Prenatal care monitors for medical problems in both mother and baby monitors the baby’s growth and deals quickly with any complications that arise. Prenatal vitamins with folic acid, ideally taken before getting are essential in helping to help prevent certain birth defects, such as neural tube defects.

On the Journal of Stockholm University cited by Phenian Scott,” Pregnant teens have a higher risk of getting high blood pressure called pregnancy-induced hypertension than pregnant women in their 20s or 30s. They also have a higher risk of preeclampsia. This is a dangerous medical condition that combines high blood pressure with excess protein in the urine, swelling of a mother’s hands and face, and organ damage” So, it is very

These medical risks affect the pregnant teen, who may need to take medications to control symptoms. But they can also disrupt the unborn baby’s growth. And, they can lead to further complications such as premature birth.

In barangay 100 Tondo, Manila, a 14 yrs old girl, alias Nano is the evidence that teenage pregnancy is not easy, “Mahirap ng sobra lalo na’t sa sarili ko hong karanasan eh kulang po sa buwan tong anak ko. Mahirap kasi wala naman sumuporta sakin para mataguyod ko to” her health and her baby’s health are in danger when she’s pregnant but now they have a free medical consultation from Jose Reyes Hospital.

“Ang hirap pong mabuntis kala ko kasi di ako buntis dati kaya tuwing gabi tumatambay ako at umiinom, sobrang bisyo ko na hospital lang ako kasi hinimatay ako dinala ako ng magulang ng kabarkada ko kaya nalaman ko din na buntis pala ako” nano doesn’t even know yet that she’s pregnant on that time so she is confidence in doing here bad habit, but when she already knew that she is carrying a baby, she tried to give her best to be the best mom that she can.

Nano also said “sa mga batang ina na tulad ko mag pakatatag lang kayo, at sa mga kabataan diyan mag ingat muna sa mga desisyon sa buhay mahirap pumasok sa bagay na di mo pa alarm” a very touching advised from nano for that teenager out there. Nano is one of the proof that being a teenage mom is hard, it will give you a thousand reason to give up cause you don’t know what to do, but eventually you will be happy because you were having a bundle of joy, a baby.

Teenager is one of the most exciting parts of growing up, but it is also the most terrifying part where every teenager is aggressive in deciding or choosing something. There’s a lot of risk and implication of being a teenage mother, it may affect your health and also the baby you are carrying, so think every decision in your life and always ask for the guidance of your parents or guardian. Pregnancy is for those people who a ready to have another responsibility in life who can give a better life, who knows what to do. Pregnancy at the right age.

As a Mass Communication student, exploring to get learnings are one of the reason why we’re not afraid to experience something. 

Tour in GMA Network Center was one the most special day in my life, why? Because it’s not just a tour it is also a step to get a lesson that makes us more intellectual when it comes in new development of technology. We know that technology help us to make things more easier, convenient and accessible. During the tour i was amaze every side of the station i see: LED screen, Lot of different types of light, big cameras, stage, speaker, their audio signal, etc. I was also surprise because every station is not that big as i imagine it, it is a small room but when we see it in television it looks like they have a huge station, it is because of the camera trick. They let our imagination more creative in thinking because of the development of technology.

We are now in a Modern Era where everything we see is connected to the ICT, when we’re on school, home, hospital, church, mall or other places there will always be an ICT. So it’s important to know the use of each technologiacal devices for us to know the proper function of it.

STUDIO 5: Oldest GMA Studio, It is the studion for Broadcast Television.

1. LCD Backdrop – LCD backdrop or Broadcast studio background is use in a wide range of applications including computer monitors, televisions, instrument panels, aircraft cockpit displays and indoor and outdoor signage. When i ask the tour guide: why they need to have that kind of technology, he answer me “Sobrang halaga ng LCD na yan dahil yan nag bibigay ng buhay at kulay sa mga news anchor natin” which is true, it gives a good background that will catch the attention of the audience. i also ask: “why LCD po? There’s a lot of choices na pwedeng gamitin para maging maganda po ang bacground ung mas mura po compare sa LCD na to *turo sa LCD* ” he explain: “LCD is one of the expensive thing here in studio 5 it cost MILLIONS, pero nakikita niyo naman na worth it yung pera na nilabas dahil yan talaga yung PUSO sa studio na ito bukod dun hindi na masiyadong takaw sa oras kasi naka connect na siya sa computers in just one click may backdrop na” i realize that even though it is expensive it is also useful. 

2.Set of Lights –  As you can on the picture above, there’s a lot of lights which they use as a tool for more profound effect on television. We know that lights is use to enhances the mood, focuses attention and enables the audience to see clearly what the director wants them to see. Specifically it affects the quality, color temperature and intensity of the broadcast image, and that’s the reasin why lights is very powerful element of any television broadcast. I ask the broadcast journalist Ms. Mariz Umali “Ma’am what is the commonly lights use here in studio?” MS. Mariz Umali said “Quartz light, Fresnel lenses and LED Lights are commonly used tools that light up a television studio set or outdoor shoot” I research about those lights and i realize that Quartz light is the very useful lights among the other lights, because it is a long time staples that produce bright light. LED lights are use without the high heat and power usage it is also the recent tools use in every studio.

When me and my groupmates go to Brgy. LS that also Located at GMA network i ask few questions about the tools and equipment they used in Radio Station:

1.What if theres are new technology that you could use for this station are you willing to buy new one?

Mama Belle : “For me NO, this equipment is very useful magkaroon man ng bagong mas maganda dito di ko ito ipagpapalit unless sira na to. Lahat ng gamit dito mahal na mahal ko.”

2. What is the usually problem of your equipment? 

Papa Dudut: “Actually there’s no problem about the equipment matitibay kase to hahahaha but honestly wala naman except the Signal dun naman lagi nag kaka problema but if you’re a good DJ you can handle that kind of problem.”

3. What is the most important tools for you papa dudut?

Papa Dudut: “The most important tools for me is the microphone, yes it will always be the most important thing kasi diba paano ka maririnig ng mga nakikinig sayo kung wala kang microphone it is also the most special tool here in radio station once na nakapag salita kana dito at napasa mo yung mga nakikinig sayo it feels like you win a lotto jackpot” 

There are Two Types of equipment for a Radio station first is the TRANSMISSION EQUIPMENT it is the equipment that is use for process of sending electrical signals to a radio, tv or computer. Second is Studio Equipment it is the equipment that is use inside the studio, usually the equipment of DJ.

Transmission Equipment:

1. Transmitter – This equipment takes your broadcast message from your studio room, the choice of transmitter is a vital decision for setting up a radio.
2. Receiver – The goal of receiver is to receives transmission signals from the studio via cables and connectors.
3.  Atenna –  It is not the typical antenna, the purpose of this is to send radio signal. Every transmission it is required to have an antenna.
4. Connectors – It is usually use for connecting various equipment to each other.
5. Audio processor – it is used to improved and optimize the quality of the sound to be broadcast. Mama belle said that it is one of the most important equipment. 
6. Cable – well we know that cable is use for connecting equipment from distance.
7. Power protection equipment – It is use to protect the power supply incase of brownout there are still option that could use.
8. Inteface power remote control – it is used to input broadcast data into transmitter.

Studio Equipment:

1. Microphone – It is used for converting sound waves into electrical energy. Usually it is the most important thing for all DJ.
2. Mixer – This tool allows the DJ to control some various aspects of radio broadcast, every DJ need this into their studio for them to adjust or enhance some audio aspects for their radio broadcast.
3. Amplifiers – it is use to adjust power signal from low power to high power.
4. Laptop/Monitor – Use to monitor the signal, it is very useful because they can also use this to solve some audio problem esp. When it comes to signal.
5. Satellites – Satellite transmit the signals from a network then signals are automatically can access from audience.
6. Television – Base on the answer of papa dudut TV or Television are use to monitor them and to monitor the breaking news.
7.  Speakers – Use to have a better sound sytems and to monitor  the quality of broadcast.

Blog#4 “Impact of ICT on the Communication Media”

We know that Communication Media is way how we spread information, send/receive information or communicate to other people, by the helped of ICT sending information gets better. 

We know that ICT is very useful, by the used of technological tools we can disseminate, store, manage information. 

Communication media is the reason why people are easily receive information.By Print media, T.V or Radio large number of people can receive an information but it wouldn’t be so convinient if we don’t have technology, because of ICT everything gets better. People used to have gadgets in order to have a better communication to other people. Of course it is better to use  technology than to have a manual disseminating information. People will always choose an easy way in communicating

• Better communication – Because of the continues development of technology communication to other people become better, by the use of television they can watch news and be aware on what happened to our world, by the use of print media other people who don’t have T.V in their house can also be updated on news, it can also be use as entertainment and of course radio, most of the people loved to listen than to watch because not all people can afford to buy television  for them it is better to build their own imagination base on what they listen. 

• Received by a large number of people -Before we know that its hard to spread news specially to the people who far from us, but now beacuse of ICT any part in this world can received information. Not just in one person but ALL PEOPLE INSIDE THIS WORLD can received information by the use of technology. 

• Improvement of technology – Exchanging of information gets better because of the improvement of technology, many people prefer to use technology for faster communication, for entertainment or for businesses. 

ICT has a big impact of Communication media but there will always be a begative effect  some people take advantage the use of technology and media.

Nowadays, ICT has been part of our daily lives. Without ICT,  we can’t do things as easy as we want. But both ICT  has a positive and negative impact to us. Let us know what is the impact of ICT in our society, lifestyle, work and governance.

Individuals/Lifestyle: 

Positive:

1. Easy to access an information, using mobile phones or computers we can get information as easy as we want.
2. Faster speed in communicating to other people even they are too far from us.
3. Saves our time, we can email or message the people we wanted to talk, or using skype to see them on our mobile phones or laptop.
4. We can see a news in different websites, updated on what happened to our surroundings.
5. Entertain ourselves using youtube, Instagram, FB, etc.

Negative:

1. Copy/Paste the idea of other people in google or other websites.
2. Abusing the use of technology
3. Focused on their gadgets than to their books.
4. Can’t sleep properly because of mobile phones, laptop or other gadgets.

Society:

positive:

1. Developing the communication to other people.
2. We can announce in a large number of people, like in our community we can send an announcement through a use of radio, or send an email.
3.  Entertainment that can use with your friends like online games.

negative:

1. Disseminating a wrong information, that leads to a misinterpretation.
2. Cyberbullying, some people don’t want to go out because some people talk about them on social media sites
3. Posting some pictures or thoughts that can embarrass someone
4. They choose to use the cell phone or gadgets than to be with their family.

Work:

Positive:

1. It makes our work easier by the use of hardware devices such as xerox machine, computer, printer and of curse telephone.
2. The access of finding a job through the use of technologies are easy.
3. Receiving your salary is more convenient because you can get it through credit card.

Negative:

1. Some companies use technology or machines that can do better than humans and don’t need employee anymore.
2. Some technology device contains high watts per hour, the tendency of this can affect to the salary of the employee.

Governance:

Positive:

1. We can get information about international news through technology
2. Can disseminate collect information specially the issues in our country by the use of technology.
3. Improvement of security

Negative:

1. Confidential files and sites might be hacked.

Positive effects of ICT:

• Faster communication speed, the capability of broadband, pocket wifi or modem in your houses can access a good connection speed and by that thing communicating to other people gets easier and more convenient.
• We can share emails, or documents instantly.
• It saves our time in very inexpensive way
• Almost all data can store in the digital form
• Improved access to education, for me it’s a new way to develop our learnings using mobile or computers we can search any information we want to get.
• Security access to fingerprints, it is very helpful for us that no one can open our files or mobile phone if we use that kind of security
• Develop our knowledge to the new things especially in using technology
• Visual education is more convenient to gain more knowledge

Negative effects of ICT:

• Cyberbullying
• Avoid reading books
• more likely want to stay in the house than to have a face to face communication
• lack of sleep
• abused the use of an internet
• they use social media sites to degrade someone
• reduce personal interaction

The use of Software and Hardware

ACTIVITY#2

With the use of software and hardware, everything turns to an easy access to everything we want to do.

 The software can be thought of as the variable part of a computer, the applications, websites or programs we use on our mobile phone or laptop are software. and hardware the invariable part, or in short it is the physical aspects of computer and other related devices.

Software:

Chrome Cleanup Tool-It helps me to keep safe my desktop to any suspicious program and it can secure my files to getting unwanted programs to crash my files, documents or other downloadable things in the computer.

DropBox– This software is useful for backup files it can secure my files in getting viruses and back up my photos and documents automatically from my phone and desktop and get to all my files anywhere I want.

GMAIL-This software is very amusing when sending emails to anyone, this kind of application that I quite often use helps me to get easily in touched to my assignments and activities. It also works for updating any bills in Meralco, Pldt or other companies.

Microsoft Office– Microsoft office is very useful, especially in school works. When I need to make a report there’s a Microsoft presentation that I can use, if i need to do an assignments, thesis or activity there’s a Microsoft word that i can also use, in making a newspaper or magazine we can use the publisher. This kind of software is very important in our daily lives especially to a student like me.

Google – I always use this kind of software, i want to understand some things that i didn’t easily get or search some poems, ideas on my assignment, get some picture and google some place i want to know where exactly it is.Google is the most useful searching sites in the whole universe because some works we search on this sites gives us a satisfying answer. 

Hardware:

Flashdrive – A very useful device that could store our important files, like a thesis, paper works, projects, assignments, activity, etc. it can also transfer data to the computer, these handy pocket-size drives are needed especially to a student like me.

Laptop/Computer- In this generation most of the teenager need this device,  laptop or computer for typing documents we need, we also listen to music on youtube or to watch the movie in movie sites, we also make our assignments or edit picture and films. By the use of this device, we can do many things that will satisfy us. We can also communicate to our relatives, friends or classmates, multi-tasking will do when we use laptop/computer like while typing our assignments we can also listen to music.

Printer – The function of a printer is to turn digital data into printed media. This could be text, or it could be graphic output. Students often use this device because most of them are doing a paper works that need in their school. it is very efficient to use because before we know that we can only pass our assignment by writing it but now in the easiest way we can print out that digital data we want to turn it into printed media.

DSLR Camera – For me, as a mass comm student, this camera is very useful. In my course, i need to capture things that connected to my courses like doing 20 elements in capturing things or person. This camera is also used for interviewing some personalities in media or capturing things I’ve done as a student. I can also use this camera for recording an especial event or for covering news.

Projector – Many teachers find chalkboards to be almost a thing of the past with the advent of projectors in the classroom. Rather than writing notes across a board, teachers can make use of PowerPoint presentations, images and even film as teaching tools through the use of projectors. Consequently, teachers and students alike find projectors to be useful classroom devices.

1. In your own understanding, how will you define:

a. Information – In my own insight, Information is used to give a right track of data or info to the people.  By having information people may focus on what happen to their surroundings, also the information help to expand the knowledge of the people, the huge impact of information can lead to an increase in understanding and decrease in vagueness. Information is valuable because it can affect behavior, a decision, or an outcome. A piece of information is considered valueless if after receiving it, things remain unchanged.

 b. Communication – It is clearly define as the exchanging of information, for me it is a process where people need to communicate to gain information. Naturally the process of communicating needs a sender, message, receivers and the feedback. However, the other procedure of communicating doesn’t have a feedback. It is important to communicate because it is a process of sending and receiving information among people. Humans communicate with others not only by face-to-face communication, but also by giving information via the Internet and printed products such as books and newspapers. Many people believe that the significance of communication is like the importance of breathing.

c. Technology – Nowadays, Technology are very useful it just in one click you can disseminate any information. Technology has changed the way we interact and communicate with other.  With the increased use of social based networks, people can create new relationships and also discover old friends. With technology, parents can communicate and keep track of their children. So communication has become easier and cheaper.  Technology is developed by people to modify their environment.

2. How the three (Information, Communication, Technology) are inter-related?

Technology has advanced to the point where instant communication anywhere in the world is an everyday fact of life. There’s no question that technology has improved, but also it has had a positive impact on communication as a whole in many ways. That’s why getting information is very easy, just open your phone and turn on the Wi-Fi you can get info and you can also communicate. Information, communication and technology interrelated to each other because it has increased the reliability of sending messages to others, made it easier to meet new people and keep in touch with friends and also saved lives. In my own insight, they improve technology to be more convenient in communicating and in receiving information.

3. Why the transition to Knowledge Society is important? What do you think are the disadvantages?

Knowledge and information are interpreted as strategic resources of knowledge society. It is important because it is exchanging of knowledge or connecting to other people, it brings out how you can communicate to your society or build a relationship to them. We communicate to get information, having a connection with other people to get information are also factors that can affect the society, it will increase your ability to think and learn more. But there’s always  disadvantage of it, we can’t find out if the information we get is right. Sometimes we need to critic if its right or wrong because it can affect of large number of people. Some information may lead to a wrong action.
